"Many an
optimist has become rich buying out a pessimist."
~Robert G. Allen
In the February 9th issue of Portfolio
magazine, Economist John Cassidy writes ... "There's a risk we may again
overshoot the mark: As the economy goes down, we could be overemphasizing the
negative just as we exaggerated the positive on the way up. By the end of this
year, if all goes well, there could be tentative signs of an upturn."
Message
for salespersons: The end of the
year will be too late to purchase a new home. The time to buy is NOW! Every
professional salesperson must collect blurbs like this and put them into their
visualizer presentation books. Then, share these positive pearls of wisdom at
the moment of closure.
A pessimist
is one who makes difficulties of his opportunities; an optimist is one who
makes opportunities of his difficulties.

I became an
optimist when I discovered that I wasn't going to win any more games by being
anything else.

Few things
in the world are more powerful than a positive push. A smile. A word of
optimism and hope. A "you can do it" when things are tough.
